Description

The Book

Why have so many perceptive, intelligent young people and adults made unhealthy choices, sometimes even when they knew better, or did not think of healthy alternatives and act on them?

Inability to answer and resolve the above universal questions has blocked many from being safe with themselves and others, and explains why minor to major abuses and violence are rampant in our world. When you wonder how you can stop such pain quickly and easily, A Path to Light---a simple up-to-date source---answers some of these questions, including a simple guide for you to navigate your way through solving the complex maze of interconnected thought and language problems that exist.

A Path to Light identifies multiple universal double binds, (sometimes hidden mental/emotional traps), with their interwoven structures, and answers the above questions with some of the reasons.

With care and humor, the book presents a preventive and healing method with simple techniques using a new healthy perspective on logic, which addresses some of the causes behind self-destructive thinking and behavior, and for solving those problems. Although people´s logic is not always perfect, through this method we deal with the logic of paradox.

This book lights a path for easily learning to make many more healthy choices---balance your life, stop hurting yourself or others, accept a healthy self-worth, and quickly let go of the fear, pain, or numbness to enjoy life with yourself and others. This may also benefit your physical healing and health as it did for me.

Centuries ago mental/emotional traps were learned (many times unknowingly) through language, myths, stories, and behavior. They created a confused, faulty logic, and confused many people´s defense mechanisms. Resulting problems exist in all cultures. In 1956, double binds were first described by anthropologist Gregory Bateson, and later, further described in psychology and psychiatry.

Mental/emotional traps have combined with other inner and outer influences which have affected the biological and psychological functions of the brain involved in perception, memory, and behavior. These have contributed to the difficulties that have prevented awareness of, as well as more simple solutions to seeing and releasing confusion and traps.

In todays fast-paced world with so much tension, violence, and an overwhelming amount of conflicting information via the news media and opinions, people more than ever need a simple peaceful method to create harmony within as well as with others, and also end violence. This is key to creating a clearer mind, greater confidence, a healthy self-worth, self-control, and safety. With a new perspective on healthy logic, you can quickly gain and sort through information to more easily recognize and release traps so you can know and make healthy choices.

Every minute counts whether preventing or healing a disease, maintaining a healthy relationship, and healing or walking away from an unhealthy one to create and maintain peace in the world with dignity and respect.

GUIDE TO READING THE BOOK (make a copy)

If after reading the first two chapters or any of Chapters 1-5, you find the material too technical at the moment, it may be that your known or hidden fear and pain is interfering with your concentration.

You can skip to Chapters 8, 9, 10: Paths to Discovery, which is my personal story of how I discovered the healing method and a description. Then you can turn to the Appendix for the Healing Kit. There you can find an emergency work sheet, as well as other worksheets. Later, you can read the opening chapters which give added support.
