About the Book

In this novel, we see Ben Foxe transported into the Elizabethan era, England’s “Golden Age”. He visits France and Spain on a mission for Sir Francis Walsingham, England’s spy master, to discover what the King of Spain is up to and has affairs with the ladies along the way as well as with those in England. During his travels, he comes in contact with a ghost and discovers a secret passage.

About the Author

David Pope was born, grew up and educated in the historic city of Bath in Somerset, England. Interested in history since his school days, he has read many books on British history. He has researched his family tree exstensively and written his family history. Emigrating to Australia in 1973, he is currently living in Cairns, Queensland. David is married with four children and an ever increasing number of grandchildren.
