About the Author

After extensive travels in various parts of Australia, New Zealand, Asia, Europe and Americas I returned to Australia and studied Economics history. After this I have studied writing with Saul Lockhardt - journalist at night school. Peas in a Pod - A collection of short stories are written to soothe the soul with stories of friendship, courage and adventure. There are also stories for readers to reflect on issues currently facing the volatile global environment.

"What delightful short stories of adventure and mystery. Entertaining but yet light easy reading that captures the reader and immerses them into another time. The writer certainly captures the story with so much detail that it makes the reader feel they are living the story. Each story is so different to the others which is refreshing and the reader will be engrossed by each one. So often you pick up a book and it traps you, so you cannot put it down, you must keep reading more and more but with peas in the pod the stories are short and sweet like fresh peas. Thoroughly enjoyed reading peas in a pod."

An enjoyable read that lives up to its promise to be thought provoking. Avia has a wonderful ability to tackle different genres whilst still coming across as genuine in the telling. Looking forward to the next collection!

interesting story and book was told by a friend to check out here. was nice could have used maybe a few more pictures for me I am not a big reader so the short read was nice
