About the Book
My Poems are about my life experiences,
growing up on a sugarcane plantation in Hawaii,
at the age of thirteen I started shining shoes
in bars and love palaces, after dropped out of
school and joined the Merchant Marine.
Later I was recruited by Uncle Sam to work
in the Far East, where I ended up sailing
Chinese Junks in the South China Sea.
Left Uncle Sam and started smuggling lotsa’
heavy boxes and people, what, where,
and how much, controlled my lifestyle for many
exciting years. Hong Kong “NiteLife” and those
Long Dress Dancers and “Sing Sing Girls”
were my tease. Old Buddha’s Gong was my ease.
My success led to a roller-coaster ride of
romances and heartaches with “Penthouses” for toys…
the sun peeking stole the night…the little hummingbird just sat on air
