About the Book

Aneala Lance was born in queens New York. Born inside of Queens General hospital February 20, 1966 Aneala Lance has visited various pleasing places in the states such as Florida, Washington DC. And she's been all over the Carolina’s north and south. Although she was born here in New York, she strongly considers herself a country girl due to her up bringing and her roots. From each place that Aneala has visited, she has been able to take experiences good and bad, and transform them into a collection of poetry that readers can understand. Through her vivid imagination, she creates an immediate emotional response to reason with rhyme. Her poems will stimulate your hypothalamus and excite the nerves. For every word that is received, she takes the readers into a past and present experience, while still reminding them of the future. For Aneala this is only the beginning. For her readers it is a long journey down through corridors of life’s experience. Another Maya will encourage you to give poetry another look to see that words not only have meaning, they have life.
