About the Author

Daniel J. Cooperson was born July 14, 1944. He has been writing poetry since he was in his late teens as a sophomore in college. His first book Peaceful Waters and Personal Crises was published in December 2002. Other books are of poetry may be forthcoming this year. Other novels are potentially out there waiting to be written. His wife Donna and he will have been married thirty-seven years in early August 2003. Their adult children Douglass and Danielle are thirty-one and twenty-seven respectively. Dan received his bachelors of arts from Rutgers University Camden in June 1965. He received his masters of arts from Central Michigan University in August 1977. He also received his masters of social work degree from Rutgers University in May 1979. He was a social worker, supervisor and manager for the state of New Jersey for nearly thirty-two years. He has a certified public managers certificate from the state of New Jersey and Rutgers graduate school of public administration. Today he is a writer, a poet and an author. He is intent on opening new and better vistas through the gifts of understanding and sharing language as well as writing about experiences and passions.
