About the Book

This book is a witness to the failures and fragility of mankind, while exonerating the existence and omnipotent,( all powerful ) characteristics of Almighty God! It tells of His love, mercy, compassion, and salvation, as well as His chastisements to those that are His very own, and of the penalties and judgment to come. It demonstrates that we can partake of his power when we become a true born-again Christian and yield ourselves fully to Him! It also speaks of the joy and inner peace that comes with knowing Him as our personal Savior and Lord! And of the great reward of Heaven for those who love and serve Him!

About the Author

My parents are Walter and Nina Taylor. My children are Brigit, Majestis, Andra, Judah, Marleta, Faith, and Hope. My grandchildren are Gabrielle, Izayah, Nia, Mia, D’Sean, Judah, Elijah, and Jadah. My brothers and sisters are Joshua, Joseph, Jesse, John, Juanita, Bobbie, Mary, Sarah, Dorothy, and Nancy Taylor. I love writing about the Lord, to give all glory, honor, and praise to Him. I am a published songwriter, poet, author, and sometimes singer. I want to recognize my relatives, Asalea and Isaac Byers, who raised me, and their daughter, Deloris Byers Holcomb. I was born in 1948 in Fries, Virginia, and raised in Welch, W.Va. I attended Welch Dunbar Elementary and Junior High School, where I was an honor student. I then attended Welch High School. There, our school band played for Vice-President Lyndon B. Johnson during the “Veterans Day Parade,” and the “Welch High School Choir” sang a few selections. I was the “Soloist” in the selection “The Battle Hymn of The Republic.” This was performed in the “Pocahontas Theater” in 1963, when I was fifteen. Ironically, my nick-name is Pocahontas!
