About the Book
For him it was like the pleasure of a hard work well done, and not the finishing of the job since this wasn’t a work that would ever be completed, not in a mere man’s lifetime, but the process of the heaviness carried, the lunging forward or steady grim pace of each day piled easily or heavily on the one before.
About the Author
Lewis Ashman has previously published a book of poems called "Possible Worlds" with Xlibris (2009)and a chapbook "Forty Days" with New Song Press (1997). Mr. Ashman is a graduate of Purdue University (philosophy) and has studied at Wright State University, University Of Dayton, and Sinclair Community College. He is pictured here in his kayak near his birthplace in Madison, Wisconsin. Mr. Ashman has played bass guitar in a jazz band, The Checkers, with his two sons Samuel and Benjamin. He currently lives in Kettering, Ohio with his charming and beautiful wife Diane Marie. He is a teacher in the Kettering School System.
