About the Author

My name is Tami Holland Davis. I have five children and I have seven grandchildren. My children have been my inspiration for the past 30 years. The one thing they have taught me is- I was never too old to learn. I am a Para Educator at Virginia School in Wheatland, California. I work with children with moderate to severe disabilities. There is no greater joy than to know that you have made a difference in a human life. Seeing the world through their eyes has made me want to share their stories and create books that inspire others to learn and laugh and experience life’s little lessons. In my classroom we don’t dwell on academics as much as we teach social skills- focusing teaching to their Abilities and Strengths and incorporating social and emotional tools for personal growth and success.
