About the Author

Mardy Wheeler has enjoyed writing for many years. She has cooperated with friends and business partners in publishing two books for business (HRD Press and American Management Association). She is also the author and co-author of numerous published articles on such topics as mentoring, managing conflict, and facilitating training. Mardy has self-published two books of poetry, for herself and for friends. AMBER FOREVER and AGAIN is the first book she has written for public consumption. (There are, of course, many stories piled in various hiding places and stuffed into filing cabinets yet to see the light of day. One, called A NEW GROOM SPEEPS CLEAN, might be ready one day.) She loves being busy, and spends most of her personal free time thinking about something to write, and then - well - writing. Mardy lives in retirement with her husband, David, and within half an hour of their two children and six grandchildren. In the past, she has been active in the League of Women Voters and as a hospice volunteer. She is listed in Who’s Who in America.
