About the Book

I am a survivor, I refused to let things beyond my control take my childhood and my adult life from me. I grew up like most in a town in Oklahoma. This is a book of poems about all the phases of my life while healing from being a victim. I hope you find comfort in my words.

About the Author

My life changed when I was five years old when my innocence was taken from me. In spite of that i refused to let it stop me from becoming a whole person. When I grew up I proudly served my country and worked at the Pentagon for over 10yrs. Throughout my life I rescued dogs, cats, horses and people, even though it was hard for me to trust, I learned to trust carefully.
