About the Book

Writing poems of my choosing is just a way of finding what I expect to find. By putting to my own use, constructing something or just imagining by nature how my idea would be or work out. For a lot of things we do, or that happen in this world, some things are not so easy to accomplish. And like the saying goes “it’s easier said than done.”

About the Author

Eliseo Porras was born and raised in a rural farming community in southern New Mexico. He is the third child of Ramon and Librada Porras’ nine children. Soon after he started his carrier as a professional truck driver, the scenery along his travels have been his sole inspiration and motivation for writing and expressing his appreciation for the simplest of things that he encounters along the open road. These few poems he has chosen to publish are just a small portion of many he has penned throughout the years as he goes from state to state, from one delivery to another. So if you are looking for something to take you from where you are to a place of imagination, find a place where you can relax and mingle your own thoughts into the wonders of your own experiences that make traveling more enjoyable and memorable.
