About the Book
The book is a detailed description of the author’s adventures from childhood through retirement. His job brought him to various places in the United States, Pacific area (South Korea, Japan, Philippines, Thailand, Singapore, Guam, and Hawaii), and the island of Diego Garcia in the Indian Ocean. His home office was in Yokohama, Japan, where his family lived while he was on travel assignments. He settled with his family in San Antonio, Texas, where he continued working for the US Department of Defense until retirement.
About the Author
The author was born in a remote village in the Philippines, finished high school in his hometown, graduated from the Philippine Military Academy, and was commissioned as a regular officer. He got married, resigned as a major, and immigrated to Texas. He obtained American citizenship, worked, and retired as an auditor of the US Department of Defense. He wrote and completed this book at the age of eighty-one years old.
