There are so many stories to be told on this great, wide world of ours. The Headless Duckling follows the haphazard adventures of a web-footed fowl who wakes one morning without his head. Knowing full well that it simply would not do, the little duckling sets out into the misty home waters of the swamp to find a new one under the watchful eyes of a host of curious characters. With no eyes to see, the trail’s end is anyone’s guess. That’s the funny thing about adventures—you never know where they might end up or whose paths you may cross along the way. You may set out one day to find your head, and end up finding so much more.

About the Author

As elusive as the creatures he pursues, few details are known concerning the origins of Mr. Taxafred Arnold Dermy. His affinity for animals and undiscovered species are well documented, yet who he is and where he comes from is harder information to acquire. Never far from the side of his trusted field illustrator and best friend Merts E. Loc, the pair has spent their lives discovering and documenting the most incredible unknown species from around the world.
