Come along on a journey with Sharey as she hatches into the wild with a duck-like bill, a mole-like claw, and a beaver-like tail. She learns that she’s not exactly a duck, a mole, or a beaver, but a unique member of the animal kingdom.

About the Author

About the Author Bao-Khanh a first generation Vietnamese immigrant with a degree in biology who found love for writing. After this newfound love, she began studying in screenplay and playwright. Since then she has published her 10 minute play, Meduca and a monologue, Fat Case. Her passion is to create things and bring them to life. About the Illustrator David Swaschnig is a Nurse Practitioner who specializes in type 1 diabetes. He, was diagnosed with type 1 diabetes at the age 13 and since then he has dedicated career as a provider for children with type 1 diabetes. On his spare time, he takes pictures of the vast nature, writes, and illustrates drawings from the pictures he captures on camera.
