Introducing a stepparent from the inside can be difficult for a child. It can be scary or even embarrassing to explain to friends. It is the author’s vision to assist you with easing that burden. For the family who would like to help their child understand what a friend or classmate is experiencing in their home, this book will also be helpful. In this day and age, the blended and stepfamily life is very common. We must work together to eliminate the negativity associated with single parents and stepparents. About the Author: Michelle S. Collopy is a proud Stepmom of four kids. She has been fulfilling this motherly role going on 10 years, since she was 30 years of age. Michelle is married to her husband Marc, and they live in California. The experience of such a family dynamic has been altogether interesting, challenging, amazing, and extremely fulfilling to say the least. It has been the goal of Marc and Michelle to help other families in similar situations adjust to the lifestyle of co-parenting, with ease. It takes quite a bit of confidence, and self-awareness to handle the situations that arise, and proudly this family has proven that it does not have to be stressful. A strong marriage, and communication is key. In addition to running a loving home, this energetic couple are both business owners, and in their free time enjoy entertaining their large circle of family and friends.
