About the Book

This book is about courageous warriors and how they adjust to setbacks, make greater comebacks, and overcome extraordinary obstacles to live, inspire, and in some cases, lead. In it you will meet people who have adjusted to the changing conditions of life ranging from life-threatening health challenges and serious disability to challenges related to being victimized by crime. You will see how a positive attitude helped these individuals adjust to the changing conditions in their lives and not succumb to life’s challenges. Lee Satterfield tells a story about how he was confronted with life-threatening heath challenges from the age of sixteen and how the effects of the challenges negatively impacted his personal and professional life. More importantly, he tells the story about how he confronted and overcame each obstacle with the help of others and a positive attitude, despite the significant costs, in order to live, inspire, and lead others.
