Sago Star is twelve years young who lives in an island who looks more like a village and less like a city, with regular citizens and nothing unusual going on. The island is connected to the main land by a long marble bridge with lights glowing on either side to illuminate the path at night. The path led all the way to the palace, from where the king alone reigns his throne. Our protagonist is the only orphan in the island with no orphanage, therefore in order for him to survive he has to work couple of hours a day for the bakery man, so he can have food, and he has to work for the tailor, so he can have clothes to wear, he has to work for the cobbler, so he can wear boots, he has to work for… And so he is quiet adoptive to the environment in which he lives. One day he meets Araya, the bright and gorgeous girl, who she claims to be the daughter of the cobbler of the island, and as the elders would say “Star and Araya fell in love”, but one morning when Star woke up found himself a mile away from the island, he was laying on his bed as the bed was floating on the water. Star wondered, and he began to move his hands in a motion similar to that of a ship’s engine, and paddled his bed toward the island. When he reached the bridge where the people were walking, he saw Araya leaving with the people and he called out her name, but all the people and the father of Araya came on the side of the bridge staring at him as he was still floating with his sleeping bed. The people and the father of Araya said to Star, “Come with us, we will live in the palace now. The island is not safe anymore, the meteor destroyed it.” Star knew that his life is gonna remain the same in the palace so he told the people “People. The bridge that is built with marble and bright lights may take you to the palace, but it will not take you to your treasure,” and he gazes at Araya and moved back with his boat sleeping bed to begin his adventure with the image of Araya in his mind.

Sago Star is twelve years young and lives in an island. He is an outstanding boy compared to the citizens of the island. One day, he sees Araya Sonara, and she is gorgeous and outstanding too. Once Araya looks at him, their first eye contact is a cause of “love at first sight,” as the elders would say. They start going along until one day, a tsunami destroys the island, which changed the course of their lives and the lives of the people. At this moment, Star makes an outstanding decision and decides to take a different path from that of the people, which will lead him through breathtaking adventures.
About the Author
About the Author Festim Famelarti was born in 1990 in the Republic of Kosovo. Being the youngest child of four siblings in the family, he enjoyed special love and treatment by all family members. As a smart child, he continuously achieved excellent results in school and was praised by schoolteachers. His passion for literature was seen at a very early age, just after learned the alphabet. He was astonished and adored the heroes of classic books. Most of his summer vacations were spent always reading books instead of enjoying outside games with other children. His talent, wish, and self-confidence that one day he can become a writer in order to influence the people to have one more reason to become better than they are inspired him that his own imagination and knowledge to interlace in a fascinating literary work. Festim now lives in the USA, where his dream is coming true. This is his first book for the children.
