Poems of Reality

About the Book

My book, Poems of Reality, has been written based on my living experiences and relationships with those who have surrounded me throughout my life. Guidance from God and encouragement from my wife Carol and my mother have led me to write poems on spiritual blessings, human suffering, love and compassion, education, and politics. Poems on Reality reveals love and concern for those struggling for life and the multitudes suffering from government and corporate greed in America. My wish is that Poems of Reality will encourage readers to apply for the five earthly promises of God found in Psalms 41:1–3 and become eligible for an eternal home in heaven, listed in Matthew 25:31–40.

About the Author

Born June 29, 1938 in Majestic, Kentucky a small Eastern Kentucky coal town on the border of West Virginia and Virginia. I served four years in the US Navy. I was a business owner and operator for 23 years. My Wife Carol and I have 3 children living and 13 grand and great grand children. Until 2016 My wife and I served as food pantry servants for 28 years distributing groceries God provided for low income families each month. I am currently fully retired enjoying life at home with my beautiful wife and my laptop writing about life on earth until God calls me home.
