Fallen Rose

About the Book

Fallen Rose is about myself, the author. It contains some unfortunate true stories of my life from childhood to late teen years. It is about a child sexual abuse, a child murder, emotional abuse, and drug and alcohol addictions. At least two are about people I admired who helped through those troubling times.
Fallen Rose II will follow at a later date and time. I had written and rewritten Fallen Rose several times. Thirty-one to be exact. It is time for my story to be told.

About the Author

My name is Maria Rose Focareto. I am 51 years old. I like to write poetry. Mostly true-story poetry. I live in a suburb of Cleveland, Ohio called Parma Heights. I like it here. I love to crochet. Presently working on a bedspread. I graduated from Normandy High School in Parma, Ohio in June 8, 1978 and hopefully to graduate from Bryant and Stratton College with an associate degree in Criminal Justice 2012. I hope to work with troubled teens as a counselor. Fallen Rose is my first book. My second book that I will be sending to Xlibris is titled, I Promise – about daily inspirational sayings along with some artwork. Writing is my first love and my passion.
