Tessa, like you and me, badly wants to go off on an exhilarating adventure. But she has never even gone to a different State or Town or Country before. She has never been anywhere in her life that is worth considering as an adventure!

Her parents could not afford the money needed to travel, nor the time for the long drive. Her only “adventure” was to the hospital to get her first shot. Ouch!

Other than that, she has only been to the mall and has enjoyed the cotton candy, and has only been to one party, where she even forgot her best friend’s present!
