About the Author
Opal M. Smith ,a widow, born February first 1938 in Greeley, Colorado came out West in 1941. She remembers the blackout at Kelso, Washington after the bombing of Pearl Harbor. She has two brothers left out of three and has children scattered around the West Coast. Opal loves camping and crocheting her own designs.
