About the Book

Meet Madison. She’s a 14 year old preppy girl, girlfriend of the school’s top preppy, Chad Hanson, and captain of the school’s football team. She’s at the top of the social ladder, despite her constant socialization with the people at the bottom of the ladder, the punks. She doesn’t care about their popularity, only the fact that they have more character in them then all the preps combined. Most of them can also relate to what she’s gone through in her life. They’re society’s outcasts while she’s her family’s outcast, if she can even consider them family after what they’ve done to her. For eight years, Madison’s father has been a drunk and her mother never even cared about her or her sister to begin with. She may be tired of it, but it’s her life. Her and her friends are forced to bite their tongues about the matter for fear of Madison being sent to a foster home. But will it eventually be too much to handle for all of them?
