About the Book

There are three (3) themes for having a successful nursing career in today’s healthcare environment. These themes are passion, posture and perseverance. The three P’s of passion, posture and perseverance are sectioned in this book using the poetic book of Proverbs to impart experiences, discourses and wise sayings regarding practical matters for nurses to change the way the nurse think, lead and live to succeed.

About the Author

Yvette Hill is a graduate of Tuskegee Institute in Tuskegee, Alabama with a Bachelor of Science in Nursing. Her graduate degree is a dual degree in Human Resource Development and Administration from Barry University in Miami Shores, Florida. She has many years of experience in healthcare and in various levels of management. She has been awarded honors such as the Supervisor of the Year and The Federal Executive Board Employee of the Year in the Professional/Scientific division. She has achieved numerous certificates of achievement, certificates for her contribution to the nursing profession and awards for her exemplary performance as a Registered Nurse. She has conducted several workshops and authored an on-line course on nursing leadership.
