George's Christmas Wish

About the Book

This story began when Ethan was about 9 years old. He asked Dad (Todd) to help him write it down. Ethan dictated the major idea and theme of the story. Todd provided only filler between scenes to allow the story to flow from one idea to the next asking questions to find out where Ethan wanted the story to go. Ethan and Todd then spent nearly 12 years talking about illustrations for this story eventually. The wait was over when Jordan surprised us and drew these sketches without having actually read the story himself. I was amazed and touched when Jordan handed me an envelope with the pictures. He had only been told a basic outline of the story on a few occasions. After fitting the drawings into the text Jordan then provided the missing sketches to finish this story out.
