About the Book

Olufunmilayo Obisesan-Fajemiseye’s passion to contribute to the advancement and increased awareness of general and occupational health and safety, which is currently an upcoming awareness in Africa, is the birth of this book. In this book, A-Z in the African Perspective, she has tried to present some general health and safety tips in a simple and easy way so that everybody who read the book will become more conscious about their general health and safety and take reasonable measures to ensure it continuously. Olufunmilayo is a graduate of a honours bachelors of technology degree in Chemical Engineering from Ladoke Akintola University of Technology Nigeria and of a honours Masters degree in Technology Management from the University of Portsmouth UK. She is a specialist member of the International Institute of Risk and Safety Management (IIRSM, UK) and a technical member of IOSH. She holds the Nebosh International Certificate in Occupational Health and Safety qualification. She is an associate member of the Institute of Ergonomics and Human Factors (IEHF, UK). She is a graduate member of Institute of Environmental Management and Assessment, UK; A full member of the Stress Management Society, UK; She is a full member of the National Industrial Safety Council of Nigeria. Subject to her availability, she welcomes invitation to come and present seminars, symposium, workshops, and conferences that will help to further promote the awareness of the African people on general and occupational health and safety measures organised by religious groups, non-religious group, government ministries and parastatals, students’ unions, and social club or organisations.
