Description

They are labeled Deadbeat Dads. Dads that did not love or financially support their children and left. The untold story is many dads are not leaving as the popular script suggest, rather, they are driven out by moms who manipulate their children and the family court system.

This is one father’s factual account of custody confrontation and eventual exile. The story is based on a daily journal, including court hearings and documents, psychological evaluations, custody evaluations, police, Guardian Ad Litum and private investigator reports. It describes the effects of Parental Alienation Syndrome on the children and divorce process. And exposes the gender bias, incompetence, deceit and unfairness in the courts and supporting social services that determine custody.

Ken Yolman’s web site, dadbeatdead.com, assist dads that have been displaced. The site also provides a forum for discussion of similar experiences. He is active with various children’s and father’s rights organizations that promote a Family Civil Rights Act legislation. He serves as a board member with FathersDay 2002. A coordinating group that sponsors an annual Father’s Day celebration and rally in Washington, D.C. and promotes public awareness of fatherlessness in America.
