About the Book

The Adventures of Lucy Lou is a series of children’s short stories. This book, “Lucy Lou’s Ghost Secret” is the first book in the series. Lucy Lou meets the ghost that follows her throughout the series to make all her dreams come true. Lucy Lou’s father has died and Lucy Lou and her mother live alone in the old country farm house. The ghost shows his magical powers and he and Lucy Lou become friends. Lucy Lou’s mama’s fear of ghosts makes life miserable for Lucy Lou an she asks the ghost to help her out. This book is a must read.

About the Author

Dorothy Minter was born in Hopkins County, Texas on a sandy land farm. She married the love of her life and moved to Denton in 1955. Her interest in becoming a published author came quite by accident. She has a Masters Degree in Special Education and post graduate work in school administration. She is retired and plans to devote her time to writing, volunteer work, and travel. She also writes poetry and does public speaking.
