About the Book

On the evening of July 9, 2016, Karla’s life changed forever. She was a woman in her early thirties with little to no adventure in her life. Her boyfriend, her job, everything in her life seemed to follow along the same expected path day in and day out. It was time for a change; it was time for Karla to take charge of her life and do something spontaneous! But sometimes adventure can turn into a fight for your life as Karla would soon find out on the African safari she had decided to take. Her fate, her destiny, was sealed from the moment she had stepped off the airplane and on to the African tarmac. Had she known what was in store for her, she would have run kicking and screaming back to the safety of her own home, the place where things were so planned, so boring, yet so safe.

About the Author

I am an American author who enjoys writing novels as a hobby. Since childhood, I have been able to come up with wild and crazy stories. I put a lot of passion into what I am writing, and I don’t hold back. My true dream was to become a movie producer, but instead I settled into family life, and writing became a release for me. I don’t pretend to be someone I am not, and I do not believe in writing a certain way to fit in with the crowd. I have my own style of writing, and I will continue to write in the way that I feel comfortable. I hope others enjoy my imagination and will give my books a chance!
