Curtis Goes to the Market is about how children should now go to the fruit and vegetable aisle first rather than going to the cookies and chips aisle. Diabetes is on a rise now. Our children aren’t eating healthy because fast-food restaurants are overpowering. I want our children to get into the habit of eating right. Let’s make a change now. Pick a fruit rather than ice cream. Let’s stay fit.

About the Author

I am a mother, a daughter, a sister, and an aunt. Today, I can add on my list, “and an author.” I didn't know how to write. It's when I went to city college when a professor stated, "To me you should write because you have a lot in you." Today I want to thank my professor for his encouraging words. I always wanted to own something. Today, I am an author. I made sure my son was put first. Now I can do me.
