Thank You It was a cloudy day as the church did fill When the Lord spoke in the month of April The people gathered from near and far Some came by train some came by car He spoke to many, yet He was heard by few Why, He asked, do so many refuse to say “Thank You”? People don’t realize how lucky they are Until they have a loved one knocking at My door With so much to live for, I only ask for a word or two So, why, my children, is it so hard to say “Thank You”? Each morning you rise is a blessing from Me Just like when you close your eyes, you trust in Thee I never promised you another day Yet you go to sleep forgetting to pray All have their moments and call My name Only in fear or when they need someone to blame So tonight, when you lie down and have a moment or two Remember My question, “Did you say “Thank You”?”
