As a child, Alicia is challenged each day by her peers because of a disorder, Tourette syndrome, which she has no control over. With help from her best friend, Emma, Alicia gains integrity, hope, and courage in addressing her peers. About the Author

Theresa Borrelli has held different positions working with children, teenagers, and young adults for 30 years plus. Ms. Borrelli has to her credits a BA, MS and several certifications. She has been writing for nearly 40 years. Ms. Borrelli reads and entertains children with her own works and songs and that of others. She is a inspirational/motivational speaker for all ages. Ms. Borrelli also writes and performs song lyrics. She has hosted open-mic events throughout New Jersey, New York, and Virginia. She is also a Poetess and has been a featured poet at many events.
