About the Book

Most designers would like to have an opportunity to peek at the portfolio of another designer. I hope my “Sketch and Stitch” will give readers a glimpse into my own portfolio and maybe even inspire some veterans already working in the industry. Use this book as a starting point for your own projects. I encourage you to borrow and adapt ideas in its pages. This book contains pages and pages of working sketches and photographs of knitted creations and knitting patterns.

About the Author

Galina Carroll lives on Long Island where she has her studio. As a freelance knitwear designer, she sells her original designs to sweater and yarn companies. She also designs custom-made sweaters and accessories for private clients. You can find her published work in the pages of Vogue Knitting, Knit It, Knit 1 and numerous other publications.
