About the Book

Connie has a brief affair with Mike a loan consultant from Grand Cayman. He returns home only to be pulled out of the bay. His face torn off by a yacht’s propeller. Connie is left pregnant. As a treat for her daughter Michelle’s 17th birthday Connie takes her to Spain. There she spies who she believes is Mike. He doesn’t recognise her because she has had dental surgery to alter her protruding teeth and laser eye treatment so she doesn’t wear her black framed bottle bottom lenses. She seeks revenge only to find that all is not as she thinks.

About the Author

C J Pendergest was born in Salford Manchester United Kingdom in 1935 and moved to Blackpool in 1958 after leaving the Armed Forces. He has had several jobs ranging from HGV driver to hotel manager and he retired, after ten years’ service, from a supervisory capacity with a well-known security firm, He took up writing in his retirement, to fulfil a lifelong ambition. ‘The Cayman Affair’ is his third of four books, the others being ‘The Videls’ ‘Marcus’ and ‘2888AD A Time Epic’
