About the Book

After Luciana's boyfriend, Colin, confesses to the killing of Luciana and his subsequent slaying, Elena finds herself in the far reaches of France. Elena has to somehow make it back to her home in Italy. After stealing a Peugeot from a parking garage at the train station, she makes her way back to Naples. As she continues along on the freeway, a motorcyclist pulls alongside her and fires upon her with a gun. She narrowly avoids being shot, yet her car is destroyed. Left with no other option but to walk home, she is approached by two cars. One of the owners steps out and unexpectedly hands her the keys to his car. Inside, Elena finds a handwritten note and a strange glowing box with clouds in it. She has an uneasy feeling about the letter and decides she will open the box when she gets home.
