Rai, Bo and the Monster

It was an amazing day for Rai and Bo when the Wise Teacher chose them. They were just like you and me except they lived in the clouds. They had eyes like eagles that could see things far away. But what made them very special was an extraordinary gift. The gift was about making everything happy through their paintings. They were patient while waiting to begin their lessons. The day finally arrived when the Wise Teacher gave Rai and Bo lots of different colors of paint and special kinds of brushes and pencils. He told them that it was important to learn how to draw circles and squares, trees and flowers, and how to pick the best colors to make things happy. “Paint the entire canvas deep blue if you want to paint an ocean scene and dark brown if you choose to paint a farm scene…” he said. He told Bo to look through the clouds at the earth and search for a farm that needed happiness. It was a very cold, grey winter day at the farm he chose to paint. He noticed storm clouds gathering. Tiny pieces of ice were falling through the winter sky. They grew bigger and bigger as they fell and made great big holes in the roofs of the house and barn. The family was terrified. Where were they to hide?
