About the Author

The Author This is John’s first fictional love story based on events and personal experiences whilst working within law enforcement. John is currently writing his second book and one of his characters becomes a main character in the next book. John grew up in Oxford and initially trained as a telegraphist at the famous Bletchley Park, home of the enigma code breakers. This took him into the world of law enforcement and he became an I.T. training specialist in the early 80’s. He delivered various bespoke courses to police officers of all ranks and during the 90’s began to specialise in covert and undercover operations. John worked in two major UK police forces and a national crime bureau in London. He feels privileged to have worked with many senior professionals during his career both in the UK and Europe. Now retired, John has taken to writing which he finds far more relaxing and fulfilling.
