About the Book

There are many books on Chihuahuas in the public arena. They deal with the cute little dog, the yappy little pest, and very simple basics of feeding, cleaning, and caring for any pet. There are books on Chihuahua history and the history of those who have brought them to the forefront as beloved companions of the day. Until now, however, there has not been a comprehensive and comprehensible book on the next level.

About the Author

Betty and Lovell Stallard are owned by the Chihuahuas of Rambling Starz Kennel. They and their granddaughters, Jocie and Alex Johnson, began showing in breed and the girls in Junior Showmanship before Alex was even old enough to be a junior. Betty is fueled by her love of Chihuahuas and desire to improve the breed while maintaining the integrity of the Chihuahua standard. Betty’s dream of betterment led to this book. She conducted research and contacted many of the top breeders of the day, the new persons, AKC judges, and veterinarians to compile a book that will be a “go to” for years to come. This is the new “must have” book for anyone serious about Chihuahuas. Betty is a member of the Nashville Chihuahua Club, the Chihuahua Club of Atlanta, the Tampa Bay Chihuahua Club, the Carolinas Chihuahua Club, the Chattanooga Kennel Club, and the Chihuahua Club of America.
