About the Book

Desiree Lovely was a gifted teenage girl, who wishes to live a normal life, that is until a unified group of werewolves has descended upon Ember Falls: Their target is Desiree. To counter this growing forc, Desiree discovers a necklace inside her locker given to her by a mysterious elf. The necklace is called The Rune of Aderise. And it can only be used by the RuneKeeper, a powerful person whose charge is to protect humanity from the forces of evil. Desiree is the latest in a lineage of Runekkeepers that spans over millions of years. So when Desiree is befriended by several allies of different fantasy species and a prophecy of impending dangers, Desiree must accept her new responsibility as the Runekeeper or risk the complete annilihation of mankind.

About the Author

D. D. Hudson was born in Boston, Massachusetts where he was raised by a single, foster mother, who eventually adopted him at the age of two. His love for fantasy and writing started at a young age. By the time he reached adulthood, he began to start writing his first novel which has been a work in progress for over 20 years.
