The Armour and suit were comfortable, light and did not restrict Alex’s movement. No part of the original black body suit was left exposed except perhaps the joints in the back of his knees, inside of his elbows and others needed for movement
In less than 10 seconds their modest towels fell away it had created an airtight bodysuit in less than 15 seconds it had created a full militaristic power armour style exoskeleton.
The Exoskeleton was intuitive and had a certain smoothness to its movement. The Exoskeleton was activated with equal parts thought and action it was astonishing how much it enhanced what his muscles could already achieve.
Alex clenched his fists again feeling the coiled power in his mailed fists. He walked over to a wall threw two left jabs and a straight right as rapidly as he could. All three punches connected squarely and three deafening thumps rang out as they hit the wall. Two things Alex made mental notes about firstly was that it was the reaction time was the same from thinking about throwing the punch to throwing the punch, but it when the blow was physically in motion did it snap out and move more rapidly than any punch Alex had seen thrown. The other thing was how little impact pressure he felt when his fists connected. Alex didn’t pull his punches at all he had thrown them at full speed, and the pain from the impact was negligible. In conclusion, the suit enhances physical abilities while simultaneously protecting the wearer.
Another sound of large doors being opened and from the front of the crowd was a clear scream of fright. Alex turned around, following the noise and walked towards the group. Alex pushed his way to the front to see what the commotion was about.
Emerging from the newly discovered door was several large hairless ape-like creatures stood in front of them, about thirty. They had short stumpy legs that looked thick and strong, each holding up an impossibly large torso with four round shoulders sprouting a large, powerful arms, each of these creatures four arms that ended in three thick fingers, their sizeable round head wore small dark glaring eyes, two large slits for a nose from which they snorted impatiently and a mouth at was almost appeared to be a permanent sneer of discontent, the creatures heads joined their body by way of a wide muscular, vascular neck.
They also wore the exoskeletons, unlike Alex and the other Humans adorned in full suits of armour theirs were only armoured up to their waists. They carried a myriad of polearm weapons in one of their hands four hands and gauging by their appearance they looked like the bastard child of a scythe and a halberd. They had around circular curved back into a scythe blade cutting edge. The blade had a metal appearance but gave off a faintest blue glow, illuminating the face of their wielders, basking them in the soft blue light.
Each of the creature's skin tones was different. There was no similarity or uniformity in their multi-coloured skin tones. Some of them had dull grey skin with thick large blue stripes or bright orange spots. Another was dark green with no additional markings of any kind. Another was red with a large singular strip running over his face down behind his back. Another was black in its skin tone with think white stripes, like two gorillas, one standing atop another wearing a zebra pattern trench coat.
Alex noticed there was something distinctly aggressive or to a lesser extent tribal about the way they presented themselves and interacted with each other, they had been drilled they silently formed a perfect line without being asked creating a united front against the Human mob staring them down, a few minutes later they were parting their recently fashioned line to make way for another of their kind.
A much larger one.
