While on the coldest part of one autumn day, Liz informed Din and Mother maple that she would never change color. In fact, she would always remain green. Thereby, never turning red, orange, or yellow. To make matters worst, Liz stated, "I will never fall to the ground and die". Liz ended the collaboration with Din and Mother Maple by stating "Mark my words, my leaf will always continue to be green.

About the Book
The most beautiful tree in the park is Mr. Maple. The leaves on Mr. Maple’s tree had uncomplicated names. One of the finest and toughest leaf was named Liz. Liz had one of her toughest challenges yet to conquer.
About the Author
Jacquelyn Hester Colleton-Akins, is a private owner of Hester Tutoring program in Walterboro, South Carolina and Jacksonville, Florida, where she currently resides. Her business has given her many opportunities to broaden her horizon and explore different grade levels by working with exceptional students. Jacquelyn enjoys being a servant to the homeless, cancer patients at MUSC, nursing homes. Jacquelyn loves visiting different schools and correctional institutions sharing stories to our young people and taking time to listen to their stories. Marilyn Elizabeth Colleton, exceptional special needs young lady which dedicated her life towards her education and became a pharmacy technician through perseverance in the job corps. She struggled with disabilities, but it never stopped her for trying to do better. She loves to draw and write stories about her family. She would love to share her stories with the world how she made it over in life.
