About the Book

Secured by Grace: Sustained by Faith is a compilation of inspirational poems that acknowledge and give thanks to God for his grace and the blessings bestowed on each of us. Every day in our lives, we are blessed. Whether we actually and consciously see some of those blessings or if they are taken for granted, we are blessed by God. From the moment he wakes us up in the morning to the very moment our eyes close in slumber, we are blessed. Let us be aware of every good outcome that is the result of any situation—that outcome is a blessing. There is nothing that happens in this world that happens by coincidence; God is aware of all things.

About the Author

Marilyn, as a young child, has always performed in plays and programs for school and church. As she participated in many UIL Poetry competitions, she was also President of her High School Speech and Drama clubs. Growing up in church, her spiritual background and experiences are the foundation for all of her Inspirational poetry. Marilyn is the author of eight other published volumes of Inspirational poetry: “Poetry to Stir the Soul”, “Whispers of Faith”, “Light from Above”, “Words of Times Past”, “Reflections from Within”, “Poetic Moments in Time”, “My Poetic Journey Home” and “Poetic Praise on Bended Knees”.
