About the Book

This book is the true story of my son, Aiden, who really wanted to get braces for his spacy teeth. I, as a mom, did not think he needed braces and thought that his teeth were fine; but he found a way, when he had his dentist appointment, to get the dentist to convince me to get him braces, which he felt—and the dentist knew—he needed. At the end, I really saw a difference in Aiden and how his confidence really shone through after receiving his braces. So this book is really about a young boy who could not convince his mom about something he really knew he needed but found a way for a professional adult to do it for him.

About the Author

My name is Stacy M. Fletcher, and I am originally from Trinidad, West Indies. I am the wife of a very supportive husband named Fletcher and the mother of one child named Aiden whom this book is actually written after. This is my first children’s book, and this is to show my son that you can achieve anything in life you put your mind to. Not only am I an author, but I am also a certified life coach of She Can Soar. And I empower women to look deep within and find what they want to do in life and go after it so they can soar. My dream is to continue writing children’s books to bring a little humor called life lessons from Aiden’s point of view.
