About the Book

Many people today are reluctant to believe in blessings ensuing from a supernatural source, and they are hesitant to lend credence to the possibility of miracles and supernatural experiences as well. Numerous Christians too, although they profess allegiance to the God of the Holy Bible, tread delicately on a path that would otherwise bridge a chasm between the temporal or tangible and the miraculous or preternatural. The result is a departure from Biblical Christianity and the embracing of a kind of pseudo-religiosity far removed from the Gospel of Jesus Christ. In Blessings, Miracles & Supernatural Experiences: A Biblical Perspective – A Christian’s Story, the author presents an explicative discussion about blessings, miracles and supernatural experiences from a Biblical standpoint. He purposes to explain the supernaturalness of God, while acknowledging present-day humankind’s falling away from Biblical Christianity and its pronouncements about an omniscient, omnipotent and omnipresent Creator and Designer of life and of the universe. The author devotes three full-length chapters to the recollection of blessings, miracles and supernatural experiences in his life, the lives of family members including his siblings and their families, and his parents. There are stories about healings, miracles, supernatural experiences and even demon possession and exorcism, all of which actually took place. The penultimate and final chapters of Blessings, Miracles & Supernatural Experiences: A Biblical Perspective – A Christian’s Story examine the greatest miracle in history – the Resurrection of Jesus Christ – and analyze what religious scholars refer to as “End-time events” and the ushering in of eternity, a period of everlastingness in either of two locations – heaven or hell!

About the Author

Christopher Hugh Kawal Persaud is a Christian apologetics writer who emigrated to the USA in the nineteen-eighties with his wife Pamela and two sons Duane and Jason. A third son, Justin, was born in Queens, New York, in 1991. Vocationally, Christopher has been a financial services, accounting and income taxation professional for many years, firstly in his homeland of Guyana, South America, and then in New York and New Jersey in the USA. He is presently Grants Administrator of a group of federally qualified health centers in Essex County, New Jersey, USA. Persaud’s main areas of Christian theology are “Origins theory” and “Bible prophecy.” He has written six full-length books in addition to this publication. Christopher is the recipient of a number of international literary awards. His 2008 book, Evolution: Beyond the Realm of Real Science placed first in the Current Events/Current Issues category of the 2008 Christian Choice Book Awards* and also won the competition’s Grand Prize. The sponsors and judges of the contest named the book the Christian Choice Book of 2008. Persaud’s 2010 book The Da Vinci Code Revisited: A Conclusive Refutation of the Widespread, Sinister Lie placed first in the Theology category of the 2010 Christian Choice Book Awards.
