Making Money While You're Sleeping: My Journey as a Kid Entrepreneur tells the story of fourteen-year-old inventor Sean Gilmore and the journey he undertook to bring a product that he conceived when he was just ten years old to market. This graphic book is written to help young people and teens understand the steps and processes needed to begin a business of their own. It also contains a glossary of the terminology used in the book. Sean hopes that it will encourage other kids to pursue their own dreams of becoming an entrepreneur and starting their own businesses.

About the Author

Sean Harrison Gilmore is the inventor of the Sleepover Bed Tent, the unique solution for sleeping single in a double. Sean conceived the idea for the Sleepover Bed Tent when he was ten years old. After working on prototypes for two years, he finalized his design and started his company in 2014. Sean received a patent on his invention at the age of fourteen. Sean is a frequent speaker at events for teen entrepreneurs and was a featured speaker for the launch of the Houston Community College Teen Entrepreneur College. Sean has been featured in the Houston Chronicle, the Defender newspaper, the Forward Times newspaper, the Depelchin Children's Center magazine, the Debra Duncan Show, KPRC - Channel 2 news and FOX News - Channel 26. Sean completed the eighth grade at the River Oaks Baptist School and will attend Strake Jesuit College Preparatory for high school. His dream is to attend Stanford University and major in aerospace engineering. Sean plays lacrosse, which he hopes to play in college. Sean has worked as a Discovery Guide volunteer for the Children's Museum of Houston and as a volunteer for Living Water International, where he participated in digging a well in Guatemala.
