About the Book

Those elements are found in author Gail Davison’s Prince Alexander. Written by Davison as a bedtime story for her son, it is told in poetry form. The short book tells of Prince Alexander’s quest to rescue the girl he loves from the clutches of dragons. When he does, she falls in love and stays with him. Although written for a boy, girls will also enjoy Prince Alexander. Most important, it encourages parents and children to spend those last few minutes of the day together.
