About the Author

Tymberli F. Carr This book was created by a challenge. Also I was curious to see if I could create it, and two to educate myself more. At the time I was trying to learn French and Spanish. Then I meet a family from Senegal whom tried teaching me the language Wolof. The idea of creating a story about a young child comes from the memories a friend shared with me about how he learned the many languages he spoke, by playing with children from different tribes. Tymberli was born in Phoenix, Arizona. Her family moved to San Diego, California when she was seven years of age, and California was a very beautiful state that brought creativity out in her in many ways. She participated in the band class as a percussionist all through elementary and high school, holding the first chair all nine years (understanding to band players). Mid high school is when the love for creative writing and reading different genre books. Ms. Carr was able to creatively write poetry and short stories as she traveled from state to state for work by bus, train or plane. That gave her enough experience to write and publish her first book, for beginning readers. Tymberli now lives in Atlanta, Georgia with her two equally creative sons, Gage and Grayson. And for the illustration, thanks to those who find it approving. Never thought to take an art or drawing class. Just used my imagination on what the characters would look like and be pleasing to look at while reading. And now I’m confident to come up with whatever and put it down on paper! I’m so proud of myself and I hope you enjoy reading and viewing my first book.
