About the Book

In the medieval town of Yargle, the townsfolk live perfectly peaceful lives. In case anything goes wrong, they have two knights to defend them: the Red Knight and the Blue Knight. One sunny day, a frightening shape with claws, a tail, and great black wings swallows the shining sun. It’s a dragon! The monster nests in the mountain and comes down every night to steal sheep and breathe fire on houses. The townsfolk beg the knights to do something about this menace, but they have very different ways of approaching the big, bad beast. The Red Knight wants to attack, while the Blue Knight wants to be kind. Of course, the townsfolk laugh at the Blue Knight and cheer when the Red Knight goes off to battle their nasty neighbor, but whose method will save Yargle? Is violence the answer or a calm conversation? This is a tale of taming the wild beast and overcoming fear with understanding, because sometimes, our enemies are really our friends.

About the Author

Justin Bellini is an elusive creature, having been only rarely observed by researchers in his natural habitat of Australia. Some say he is a myth, while others say he is a bearded buffoon.
