5 MILLION AMERICANS ARE LIVING WITH ALZHEIMER'S! AND YOU! ARE NOT IMMUNE!! That is particularly true if you do not take care of your body and your mind! My sister is a classic example of someone who totally disregarded the fact that we have to take care of our physical and mental mussels! I can bear witness to the fact that our loved ones could pay a huge price because I/we could not be bothered to take care of our bodies and or our minds! If you choose to ignore this message and by some twist of fate you should fall foul to Alzheimer! YOU alone will own the many years of heart ache and pain, not to mention the possible finical stress you could leave as your legacy to your love ones! I speak as one who has witnessed on a first hand basis the pain suffered on a regular basis by myself, and my sisters loved ones! Unfortunately in my sisters case she did not take care of her self on a physical basis thorough out her adult life. Both her and her late husband did little or no physical exorcise what so ever! To make matters worse they were both addicted to tobacco and chained smoked their entire lives! In addition later in her life and even more telling, when she retired from her work Jeniffer neglected to exorcise her brain, for example she stopped using her computer completely! Ignore you body and your brain if you will, but remember this! We all have options, your actions or non action will impact your loved ones lives quite possibly for years to come, positively or negatively! THE QUESTION IS, DO YOU CARE? Additionally, you should bear in mind that you run the risk of becoming a huge, heart breaking and financial burden to your loved ones long after you are having to be taken care of 24 7! A sad and huge burden to be carried, but not by you, you won’t know what’s going on? But either by a loving family care giver, or worst still you could end up in a home somewhere not knowing who you are, and who these strange people are that come to visit you from time to time! Unfortunately this is very real and very personal to me, because I now live in Orange County, California, and Jennifer is in England, so I do not get to see my sister on a regular basis. I call her on a regular basis two or three times each month, but unfortunately I only get to see her maybe once or twice a year. The sad irony is that I have very mixed emotions on that matter, and I am very torn! On the one hand I feel so much guilt that I am not there with her to show her my love, on the other hand when I do get to see her and get to give her a big hug, it’s only after I have explained to her who I am! “Sis, it’s me! Your big brother!” That breaks my heart! This is a women that raised me as a child, and who is my number one all time “Super Hero!” And she has no idea who I am! How sad is that? So, if ever you needed another reason to act on all the messages from this book! To that end I have, just in this single paragraph spelled out to you, the single best reason I cold possibly think of! So, no lame ass excuses for you going forward! Think outside of you! Right now, starting today you have the option to say “Screw it!” They Owe Me! Why should I care!? Or, you can take responsibility for yourself, and starting today you can pledge to take care of your body and mined by acting on the information in this book, by staying Physically and Mentally fit! It’s your call! Your body! YOU OWN IT! Your family will love you for taking good care of yourself and not becoming one of the 5 MILLION AMERICANS LIVING AND EVENTUALLY DYING DUE TO ALZHEIMER’S DISEASE! You would then becoming yet another tragic, sad and hart braking burden for your family to carry, for what could be many years! But why would you care? You would not know who you are, what was happening and indeed who “they” were! They, like my family and I would just become someone who stopped buy occasionally to say hello, how are you today Mom? To which, if that were you!? You would reply. Hi, “Who are you?”

About the Book
It is just a few years ago that I started to write this book! “It’s Official!” Growing Old Sucks! My intent was simply to appeal to older folks of sixty-five years and older who have let their physical and mental muscles go to hell in a hand basket! However, I have to say at that point in time that I did not have a lot of enthusiasm or intensity for the task, which is why the book remained unfinished!
However, my life was turned upside down when my wonderful big sister fell victim to Alzheimer’s, such a devastating illness! My sister’s demise brought me to the shocking realization that many older people who, just like my sister, have not bothered to make any effort to maintain some level of physical and/or mental fitness could quite possibly fall victim to the same fate!
In that instant, I realized that although I could do nothing to help my sister, I felt obligated to do anything in my power to help the Alzheimer Foundation do whatever it could to hopefully find a cure at some point for this devastating illness! What sprang from the realization that I needed to do something was what had been missing for several years! My all-empowering why!
From that point, that awesome power enabled me to become energized, not only to finish writing this book, but it also empowered me to get my body and my mind into the best physical condition of my life! I now look and feel like a man in my forties! However, what truly inspires me is the fact that I now have a tried-and-tested formula to help other older folks to also get into the best shape of their adult lives!
Come join my crusade, and follow my lead! There’s plenty more room for you to become energized and to be in the best shape of your adult life too! Just as I have done!
About the Author
Meet the Author Mike Shaw. Mike was born in the height of the second world war, the son of a humble bricklayer on May the 19 1942, . Although he was born into a poverty stricken environment, fortunately he was also born with a “never say die” attitude to life! Although he and his family survived the war, he had little by way of an education! however undaunted Mike went on to build several business in his home town. In turn his endeavors enabled him to create a living and modest housing for his immediate family. Along the way he also created and headed up his own “Rock Band”, owned and flew two of his own air craft. However several serious financial setbacks along the way left him totally penniless with just the cloths he could carry. Thanks to his indomitable spirit he brushed himself off and set his sights on becoming a successful business man who went on to travel the world in pursuit of a fortune. While traveling the world he built several successful business’s, in The Middle East, England and California, where he eventually became a US citizen and resides in Orange County to this day.
