About the Book

These twelve tales are a combination of original stories and adaptations of folktales and fables from around the world. Each story has a theme or moral truth and is accompanied by a guide for encouraging conversation about each topic. Listeners may then share their own tales and experiences. These stories are suitable for kindergarten through fifth-grade children and are intended to be read aloud.

About the Author

Susan Brolund is a storyteller, inspirational speaker, writer, and teacher. She infuses her original stories with the values and morals passed down by her parents and grandparents while growing up Alabama. Susan received a Master of Arts in storytelling from East Tennessee State University. She enjoys telling stories of faith, hope, and encouragement to people of all ages. Jonathan is a self-taught artist who started painting about a year ago, working primarily with acrylics, but chose watercolors for this project. His style can be described in one word- fearless. He is constantly experimenting and studying new techniques. He has been featured as an emerging artist in The Artist Quarterly, NYC, and has begun showing at numerous venues in the south.
